Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is an actress, singer, songwriter and musician from Ireland. Corr was first noticed in 1990 as a member of the Celtic rock group The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician singer songwriter actor is one of the Corrs. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was conferred upon her and she is also well-known as the leader of The Celtic Folk-Pop-Rock group The Corrs. Andrea is the singer-lead of the group and performs on a variety of instruments. Andrea began her career as an actress in 1991. Then she was a musician and stage artist. She was the voice of The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film released in 1998. Andrea has six studios albums to her credit. She also has two compilations albums as well as four live albums, and the mix CD. She has been felicitated for her work in the field of charity too. Andrea is married and has two children with her stockbroker. Andrea started her musical lessons by playing the Tin-whistle. Andrea also learned to perform the piano under the tutelage of Gerry. Andrea also is a Ukulele player. Andrea honed her skills in music throughout her teens. She worked alongside her brothers and sisters in order to sing for the group. Andrea was a part of many shows at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
